A BUYER’S QC CHECKLIST

QUALITY
QUESTIONS.

Use these four checkpoints to request evidence about the actual item. This guide is not a record of tests performed on our catalogue.

01

ALIGNMENT & OPERATION

Request clear, current photos and a short video of the exact item. Check the dial, hands, bezel and controls together.

  • Dial and hand alignment
  • Bezel centring
  • Crown, pushers and date operation
02

MOVEMENT & TEST RECORDS

Ask which movement is fitted and what was measured. A movement name alone does not establish accuracy or power reserve.

  • Exact movement identification
  • Dated test results and conditions
  • Demonstration of advertised functions
03

FINISH & CONDITION

Ask for close-ups in clear light, including areas hidden in a front-facing catalogue photo.

  • Crystal and dial cleanliness
  • Case edges and surface finish
  • Bracelet, clasp and caseback
04

WATER EXPOSURE & DELIVERY

Do not infer water resistance from a dial marking or the genuine model. Confirm evidence for the supplied item and get delivery terms in writing.

  • Item-specific water-test documentation
  • Confirmed delivery terms
  • Written returns and support policy
